Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy was established on December 25,2002 by the Decision No.184/2002/QD-TTg of Prime Minister,based on the Faculty of Medicine-Dentistry-Pharmacy of Can Tho University,which was formed in July 1979,located in Campus 11 of Can Tho University.Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy embraces the mission to be a center of education and scientific research responsible for training human resource in the field of Medicine and Health Sciences as well as applying research findings into healthcare services to meet the need of people in Mekong Delta and other regions of Vietnam
