It is said, "Instead of giving a bread to the hungry once or twice, it is noble to teach him how to earn it". This is what our motto is.

Based on this conceptualization visionary Babe Ke Educational Trust (Charitable) Regd. (comprising of Indians and
Non Resident Indians) initiated and endeavoured to realise the above universal truth by establishing Institutes which would shed light on ways and means of employment and self employment for the coming youth and further their services to industry in the present competitive era, in which it is not possible to sustain in the global market without adopting modern manufacturing/servicing technology. It is a matter of great pride for us that today Doaba Group of Colleges is a brand that stands for total and meaningful education.

To support our mission we offered internationally recognized courses and training programmes for enrichment of students and to facilitate their academic and professional live in increasingly global market. At this temple of education we aim to producing highly competent and skilled manpower as per ever changing needs of the industry.

Facility

The institute has an excellent infrastructure with well equipped labs and workshops, experienced faculty in the form of Lecture Rooms, Seminar Hall, Drawing Hall, Engineering Laboratories, Mechanical Workshops and Science Laboratories, equipped with the latest equipments, a digital linkes library and internet connected Computer Laboratories. The College is a first choice for many students and their parents. Therefore it is hoped that the Institute unique of its kind will nourish the youth with the needed technical education along with mental, spiritual and physical growth.

DPR Library is one of the advanced library of the Punjab which has SMART Card facility. The Library has good collections of volumes with multiple copies of each title for all branches and general topics catering to needs of both the students and the faculty.

The Computer Labs are fully AC, equipped with latest P4 computers attached to LAN with lease line from Connect Infoway. Each student has individual access to internet and computer facilities. Internet facilities are available to students and staff even after college working hours.

24-hours Internet Connectivity

The college provides the students with round the clock internet facility in the well equipped labs providing high speed connectivity via radio frequency link. The students can surf the net to gather unlimited information and increae their knowledge from various educational sites. Doaba Group of colleges also it own well developed website.

Transport Facility

Regular transport facility is available from Chandigarh, Mohali and Nawanshahar throughout the year for the students and staff. The College is approved by state Govt. for issue of concessional bus passes for their students. It is also easily approachable from all adjoining areas of the nearly states as regular transportation facility is created for students within a radius of 40 km.

Canteen

Doaba Polytechnic college has the facility of a spacious and clean canteen that caters to the taste of all students. It is well maintained with efficientservice. It is a place where students relax with friends to enjoy good quality, delicious and healthy food atnominalrates. It is defnitely a treat for all students.

Girls Hostel and Boys Hostel

The college has created the facility for the hostel accommodation for the girls and boys separately which is fully secure and adequate for their needs.

Extra Curricular Activities

Cultural activities also form an integral part of our curriculum. For overall development of students, the institute organizes various cultural activities from time to time. The institute provides scholarship and other incentives to the meritorious students and also free special classes for the weak students. Our students not only excel in academic, but have brought laurels in sports also. We provide excellent sports facility on our campus. Our students have created history by winning medals in the inter college tournaments.
