About Us

Amar Jyoti School of Nursing is a unit of Amar Jyoti Society, Ranchi, Jharkand, India, administered by the Missionary Sisters of the Queen of Apostles. The Congregation of the Missionary Sisters of the Queen of the Apostles is an Apostolic Religious Congregation of pontifical right, widely known as SRA - Congregatio Missionalis Sororum Reginae Apostolorum. The sole aim of Fr. Antonius Maria Bodewig, the founder of the Congregation was the empowerment of women and an integrated development of children with special focus on girls.The Congregation was canonically established in the year 1923. The Vision and dream of our founder Fr. Antonius Maria Bodewig and the co-founders 'to bring the Good News of the Compassionate love of God' and to bring about an integrated development to the people of India liberating them from the bondages of poverty, injustice and all kinds of social taboos is being realized by every SRA. Through various ministries - proclamation of the Word of God, pastoral ministry, education, developmental work, healing and health ministry, the sisters reach out to the people irrespective of caste, creed and race to seven countries in three continents- Austria, Germany, Italy, Slovakia, India, Philippines and Uganda. A.I.H.E. (Ambedkar Institute of Higher Education), Godda, Jharkhand is a premier school providing quality education in the field of Nursing and Allied Health sciences.The school is affiliated by Indian Nursing Council (Ministry of Health & Family welfare Deptt.) Govt. Of India, New Delhi & Jharkhand Nurses Registration Council, Ranchi. Vide letter no. सं०सं०-7(ए०)नर्सिंग18-14/08 178 (7ए) स्वा० dated 22.05.09 of Jharkhand Govt. Ranchi & Resolution No. 176/ 02/ JUL / 2011, Certificate No. 18-36/5081-INC approved from Indian Nursing Council for 40 (Forty) seats ANM Nursing Training at Godda district in Santhal Paragna. Modern Nursing is a dynamics, therapeutic and educatives process in meeting the health needs of the individuals, family and the community. Nursing is one of the health professions which functions in conjunctions with other health care agencies in assisting and maintain desirable standards of health.Our Institutions believes that it has a responsibility in helping the students to develop pride in their profession besides keeping them abreast with current knowledge and professional trends for a successful career ahead.
