About Us

Al Shifa College of Nursing, Perintalmanna, a premier institution in nursing education was incepted in 2002 with a view to create nursing professionals competent in comprehensive nursing care based on scientific principles so as to meet the escalating medi-care needs of the country. Our motto is “Lighted to Enlighten” and we always strive to maintain the aim of our service to the poor and needy.The college started Functioning with the approval of the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi & the Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council, the Al Shifa College of Nursing is affiliated to the University of Calicut Kerala . The Al Shifa College of Nursing has been recognized as a Minority Educational Institution by the National commission for Minority Education Institutions, Government of India in the year 2008. In 2010, the College affiliated under the Health University of Kerala, ie, Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur. The college is equipped with the most modern facilities and exceptional infrastructure, needed for the sound education and practice in the nursing profession. Highly qualified faculty handle the theory classes in Pre-clinical subjects and the students utilize the full fledged laboratories for their practical learning. The clinical experience needed for students is offered at our KIMS Al Shifa super specialty hospital.
