RV Teachers College

R.V. Teachers College is the first Grant in Aid College in the State of Karnataka founded in the year 1954. It is affiliated to Bangalore University and is recognized by National Council of Teacher Education. It is offering two year B.Ed program with four semesters and it is also a Study centre for Karnataka State Open University for part time M.Ed program. The college has published two volumes of M.Ed Dissertations abstracts conducted in the college from 1974 to 2009.

It is also a research center with recognized Ph.D guides. Our research center has helped in awarding Eleven Ph.D’s and few M.Phil’s. We are planning to publish the Ph.D research Abstract by compiling the out comes of the research studies.The college has well an equipped library with 22000, volumes of books and 75 educational journals.
