B.Sc. Agriculture which imparts knowledge on the science of agriculture, use of equipment and techniques, animal and poultry management, water resource management, etc. The course also imparts knowledge about the new techniques and methods as well as the various opportunities in the field of agriculture. From plant and animal-based farming to basics of biotechnology, the course covers areas such as resource management, modern farming technology and techniques, and land surveying. In this course, students familiarise themselves with various aspects of agriculture in both laboratory settings and real environments. The course aims to train students on methods of improving agricultural productivity and manage resources and products to aid developments in the field of agriculture. B.Sc. Agriculture graduates are employed in Central/State departments, Agricultural organisations, Rural/Nationalised Banks, Agro-industries, Dairy units, Food processing units, etc.

To be eligible for B.Sc Agriculture course, candidates must have cleared 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks in English, Physics, Chemistry and Maths/Biology from a recognised board.
All the candidates have to take and qualify the entrance exams which are conducted by the colleges as well as the government. The candidates can apply for the exam online. Eligible candidates are selected based on their performance in the entrance test.
